Fabric
CIGOGNE Bébé’s signature line is the naturally coloured cotton series. They are made of 100% organic cotton that are not bleached, or chemically dyed. The other clothing lines are also made of 100% pure cotton. CIGOGNE Bébé has chosen to work with high quality cotton that feels softer to the touch. Something you will notice once you pick up their garment.
Dyeing Process
The dyes used on the fabrics are gentle to the skin and eco-friendly. The dyeing process does not use chemicals that are harmful to the environment. Instead, the dyes used degrade and decompose easily, without harming the surrounding habitat.
No Tags on Innerwear
How often has the little tag on your clothes irritate you? This key design feature is incorporated into the design of CIGOGNE Bébé innerwear. It is important that your baby sleeps comfortably without a little tag sticking into his or her neck!
Buttons
Resin snap buttons are used on the innerwear, instead of metal or plastic ones. Metal buttons are prone to rusting, and in some cases, contain nickel, which can trigger allergic reactions for babies with sensitive skin. Resin buttons are eco-friendly and made from recyclable material. Do not be fooled by their plastic look, they are actually made from plants!
Flat Stitching
“Flat stitching” sewing technique is employed to sew fabric together. Flat stitching has less “bunching” of fabric at the seam, and reduces chafing against the skin. A simple yet effective way to significantly improve the comfort level.
